Rowan Carnival Shawl

Here's my completed Carnival Shawl from the Rowan Holiday book.

It wasn't difficult, all single crochet!

It's made from a superwash wool w/ some cashmere, I forget the brand name of the yarn, but it was the same weight as the Cashsoft. If you want to do the fringe, make sure to buy an extra skein or two.

Is that done in sections or all one piece? Great work. I just love shawls that are not the norm.

Thanks! It's done in 36 six-sided motifs. The amazing "swirl" look happens when you start piecing them together!
