a Christmas gift... hat and scarf

Sorry about the picture quality- I have to use a web cam as my digital dosen't work. This is a gift I made on friday and saturday evenings. The Hat is from The Addison Hat pattern and works up really quickly. The scarf is from Hooked on crochet February 2007, page 31. I changed a few things with the scarf pattern but I loved the motif pattern. I'll probably use it again. The yarn is a very soft acrylic, the color off white that I found in a mill ends bag in my stash ( so nice to work with I wish I had more!) I also whipped up a few cotton dishcloths.
