Welcome fellow crochet junkie and Merry Christmas! I know exactly what you mean...recently someone asked if I had a pen or pencil they could borrow and when I reached in my purse, I came out with a bunch of crochet hooks in different sizes, but no pen! The woman just rolled her eyes and said she was NOT surprised!

 

I hate it when I get somewhere that I have to wait (like the doctors office) and don't have a project with me and feel like I am wasting time. I told my girls I am going to have a shirt made up that says...I'd Rather Be Crocheting! Which is usually true:hook
