Neck Warmers

:cheerI like your crocheted neck warmers.

They are certainly quick to make and much appreciated by the recipients.

I made up a similar idea, but knitted with one ball of Eyelash Type yarn.

I have written out the pattern if anyone needs it.

Maybe it would be a good way to use up those balls of Fun Fur which everyone hates to crochet.

The picture does not really show off the idea at its best but there is a tube across the scarf where the two ends appear to cross over. The end goes through this tube and holds the scarf in place all day, no matter how windy it is.

I also send this particular colour to Breast Cancer fighters because it looks like the awareness ribbon.

Last year, I sold them to raise money for Relay For Life and also knitted while walking and sold a couple hot off the needles.

They take about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to knit on 7mm needles.

Have fun.

PS, I just made 45 of them for my sister to give to all the Patchwork & Quilting ladies going on a tour to Alaska next year. I used a variety of colours, some variagated, some plain and quite a few in black for the ones who do not like colour.
