Alright folks, Suzi has started another doily. Sorry but I had to I love it!!

Here's the directions. Round 2 and stumped already.

Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 10, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 23 dc in ring, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (24 dc)

Rnd 2: Ch 2, dc dec in next 2 dc, ch 4, [dc dec in last st worked and in next 2 dc, ch 4] around, join with sl st in top of beg cl. (12 dc dec, 12 ch-4 sps)

When I have to dc dec in last stitch worked.... does that mean I am sticking my hook in the top of the same stitch that the last part of the previous dc dec was made? :hook:think

Each dc decrease is made over 3 stitches.

The ch2 at the beginning of round 2 is the first stitch of the first decrease/cluster.

The rest of the clusters are made by yarning over, putting your hook into the BASE of the last stitch of the prior cluster, pull up a loop, pull through 2 loops, and completeting the decrease/cluster over the next 2 stitches.

More simply put (I hope), the last stitch of the prior cluster and the first stitch of the current cluster are made in the same stitch in the row below.
