I got the pattern from http://happyyellowhouse.com/uptownbag.html the pattern was for the smaller bag. I am getting better at crocheting that I enlarged the second bag.

Thanks It took me about 2 days to make them.

I amalso a yarn hoarder everytime i find yard at the missions or goodwill i buy. My uncle also got some for me at an auction. I had at one time 12 banana boxes full of yarn. still have alot it could fill a car lol.

I am so into doing bags this year last year it was dish cloths and bath puffs.The bigger bag I did make from my own pattern kind of just made it a little bigger the handles longer its getting easier each time i make a new bag .i am on my third bag like the big one. And instead of wip stitching the top of the bag on the last one i made i sc it on. i think it looks better.
