Woven Scarf

This is from Sasha Kagan's book Crochet Inspiration. I loooove the book. Unfortunately the lighting didn't get the colors exactly right, but you can get an idea. I hated weaving in all the ends from color changes but other than that, this scarf is a brilliant pattern. The long weaving strands were really fun to do. I used Caron Simply Soft Heathers and an E hook.

Thanks for the kind words. It's not hard at all--just a dc mesh (double crochet, chain two, dc, chain, dc, etc.) and then you weave yarn through the mesh in a stripe sequence.
