the thing is, i dont have only one skein of ANYTHING. i always get at least 2!!! if you have the SnB HH book, the "one skein scarf" can be made with 1 skein of microspun..... i use an I hook for the foundation chain, and a H for the rest of it. im a BIG substituter of yarn.......

I didn't realize just exactly how much yarn I have until I put it all together in the same place. :blush My daughter and I put it all on my bed and sorted by color, the bed queen size, and as you can tell from the pic, you can see much of the bed, I guess I need to get to work stitching so that I can use some of it,lol.

Mine is scattered all over my room and under my bed. There is absolutely no way to take a picture of it. Oh yeah I just remembered it is also under my computer in a really large tub as well. I really need to go through that tub someday soon. :D

I've been tempted to take out the yarn & take pix, but I'm afraid of having to put it away! :lol

I do have a few tho, this is just the thread and I've decided to list a lot of it on ebay, cuz *apparently* I have TOO much! :shrug

this was taken about 5 years ago......I have alot of this left but some has been put into more bins and I have since added to my stash, so that makes it more than what you see here--alot more, have close to 50 or so now! My aunt had a head injury a few years ago and last year and this year had alot of operations and cannot crochet anymore so my uncle gave me 5 bins worth of fabric on rolls. Their daughter --my couison took the yarns,,,and he gave me the fabric. I use them for making rugs and hot pads. so My husband took this picture about 5 years ago 42-45 boxes and binsand more bags behind and the side of the boxes and bins.. We had to put everything in temp storage while looking for a house. I do need to get it all together and re take a picture. I have some here in the den its against the whole wall, and there is some in my yarn room, and the other room. I've cut down on buying yarns, but I had to buy 2 times this year for our grandson baby blankets--didn't have the colors our daughter and her husband picked for the baby room. . I've bought threads a few times cause I didn't have that color. I have to say it is very very very hard to destash, there is no ever ends to yarns and colors. My husband does not mind the yarn, at all, he rather I have it then run out to wal-mart in the middle of the night. And money wise always better to get it on sale or clearances. I'm going to buy it anyways. Here is the picture about 5 years ago.
