I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone! A little about me...

I'm 26 and mom to a 6 year old boy and a houseful of pets (cats, rabbit, fish, lizards). I work full time at a local stable cleaning the barn and caring for the 16 horses boarded there. I wouldn't trade that job for anything!! lol! Nice and peaceful and lots of "me" time! I've been crocheting for about 5 months now. I also knit, make Native American dance shawls, and latchhook. Eventually I'd like to learn to quilt, but my sewing skills have much to be desired (as in a straight skirt ended up looking like a big top tent)! So far about the only crochet projects I've tackled is afghan squares and dishcloths. I haven't gotten much braver than that!

thanks. And yes, the shawls are beautiful....but very time consuming. I fringe mine very heavily because I love the movement of the fringe. And I haven't figured out applique and ribbonwork, so they're pretty plain. But it keeps me out of trouble...lol!
