without really ever intending to, i took a hiatus from crocheting. over the summer, i realized how much i missed it, so during a trip to jo-ann's, i wandered over to the yarn section and allowed this bright red to convince me to buy it. i found a really simple free pattern online to dip my toes into the pool and this was the result. i'd forgotten the feeling of accomplishment that comes when you finish a project. i like it. Here's my 2-year-old in the first thing that Mommy has crocheted in a loooooong time (about 10 years)!
