I like it a lot, but refer to the Ultimate Sourcebook much more. I also second the Harmony Guides. They are a must have for stitch illustrations.

  • 2 weeks later...

I bought a copy tonight at Border's cause I had a thirty percent off coupon on purchases ten dollars or more so instead of costing me $31.49 which is $29.99 plus five percent tax. It only cost me $22.04 including tax. I seem to be doing quite a bit of squares lately and I thought this might be helpful in branching out and doing other stitches besides the granny! I also want to do some dishcloths for stocking stuffers and the pictures made me think I could adapt patterns for that. I think I will use this book quite a bit and I plan to keep it in my rolling tote. :manyheart

Did anyone realize the " V " stitch is missing from the book?

Wow! I would have thought that would have been in there....Obviously this means its okay to purchase more than one book on stitches, since it may be that not any "one" book will have all the stitches!

hmmmm what's a second book to be on the look out for?
