Question
amigurumiprobie
so i am SO excited to share this!
mainly because its the first thing ive ever shared on these forum-type sites!
wheeeee!! :c9
but anyways!
my boyfriend bought me an ipod a couple weeks ago!
one of the amazingly shiney new gen. classic vid 160 gb ipods!
so of course i had to go do some intense ipod pamperage!
i went to walmart and bought:
a size f hook (because my little sisters lost my last one) for $2.67
98 yrds of black worsted weight cotton yarn for $1.23
1/4th a yard of medium weight vinyl for $1.03
and this adorable dragonfly button for $.78
so for... roughly about $6 including tax.... i made this:
isnt it cute? i got the vinyl back idea from happy hookers, and i had to made it bigger and i added a loopy thingy to the top soz to keep the ipod inside in case i tip it upside down by mistake (which happens frequently and i'm always like "AAAAAAAAAAA... !!!! oh. whew" every single time ) and i added a hole in the bottom thats about an inch long for the comp cord so i dont have to take the entire ipod out just to hook er up!
oh oh oh and get.... this.
*lets suspense build*
youre all prolly going to be like "what a dummy. everyone knows that"
but i TOTALLY am excited about this information.
it being... that i was all prepared to cut a circle in the vinyl for the touch menu thingy and then i found out that the thingy works RIGHT THROUGH THE VINYL!!! :dance
i was so excited hahaha
ok. i'm done now
i was thinking of posting a pattern on my xanga maybe, but i need to alter the pattern a bit more so its totally and COMPLETELY different then happy hookers
also.... would using the vinyl back idea in my pattern be stealing? i checked into it and they havent copywrited (is that even a word?) the idea of the back, just the pattern it's self. i wasnt sure though. i dont wanna steal anythiiiiing
lemme know what you lovely crochetville veterans think!
