I have one of these. I purchased one at a craft show where the lady that invented is lives. I tried it out that night and loved it so much that I bought another one for myself and my Mom. We both love it because of the afghans we crochet. Not sure how it would work for a knitter.

 

I found this link because I was looking up The Yarn Flipper website and saw your post. I just signed up. I've been disabled because of my back for the past couple and now have alot more time to crochet.

I made one of these years ago with an empty soda 12 pack cardboard box. I was making an afghan with 6 colors in each row. It kept the yarn from getting twisted together and kept it in the proper order.

 

I wouldn't pay $22 for a cardboard box.
