Haunted House

Question

Last year I was searching on ebay and came across a pamphlet that had a crocheted haunted house. Of course, I didn't win :no. Now I can't seem to find it anywhere. I believe it was from Annie's Attic...but it could have been from Leisure Arts. It was a 3D haunted house. I have seen the flat ones, the potholders, etc. It also wasn't plastic canvas. I'm sure I could make one up, but I like the ease of having it all right there in front of me. That way I can pick it up and put it down whenever I feel like it.

and...if there happens to be one out there for a gingerbread house too...that would be GREAT!!!

found the gingerbread house.... http://www.anniesattic.com/crochet/detail.html?prod_id=21461

This might be one for designers... The only one I remember is a thread one that Annies Attic had.

I think this is a flat one http://pacycrochets.tripod.com/HauntedH/index.htm

haunted house

looking for patterns - link to someone looking for houses, castles, etc., and has some ideas you may be able to use if you want to design one.

Hmm.. I wonder how you would stiffin them. The one from Annies Attic says it uses Worsted Weight yarn... Couldn't be too hard to duplicate... but I wonder if plastic canvas or a cardboard is used to stiffin it... maybe fabric stiffiner? hmm:think

thanks...

I think plastic canvas would be good to hold it's shape. A thread one would be fine if it was 3D. I would just go ahead and use worsted weight instead.

I might just have to go ahead and design one...not until AFTER the holidays though...too busy right now.

I could always go ahead and get the gingerbread pattern and change the colors and items around it to fit in the Halloween theme....sounds like a good idea actually!
