Question
Reba
OK, I have a problem with Dot's Sweetness hat pattern--I think the problem is with the way I'm inserting the hook back around the TC, but I was hoping if I described it to you guys you could tell me what I'm doing wrong. I took some pictures of what I'm doing, in case those might help.
I start out with this (just ignore my puffin pajamas ):
And then I insert the hook behind the previous tc (am I doing this right?).
And then, when I insert my hook into the stitch, I have 5 stitches on the hook, which is 1 more than I need for tc! Like this:
I'm sure I'm missing something really easy, but I've been at this for like 45 minutes, and I can't figure it out! Of course, that might be because it's 11:30PM. . . oops.
And the REALLY frustrating part of all this is that, for the first 1/4 of the row, I was doing fine! I always do that, I'll get like halfway done with the project, and within the space of a second it's like "Ooops. . . forgot how to tc!"
