my first poncho

Ok my first attempt at posting pics.. This is my first poncho. Being modeled by my very unhappy grandson lol.. Had to promise not to show his face

I had the hardest time with my male model lol I needed my fiances best friend to try on the poncho I was making my mom. He is the same height as my mom and I needed to measure its length several times. The next time he came over, he asked if I was going to measure it again but I told him I had already finished it so there was no need. Then I caught him trying it on real quick in front of the mirror to see how it looked finished He will never live that down

The poncho isn't for me. I am on the "fluffy" side lol. And don't know what to do to make it big enough.I made it for my daughter who then told me she didn't wear ponchos. Which made my roommate very happy. She wants a coup[le more in different colors.
