Paton's Shetland Chunky.....does this split on y'all?

I've only used 2 skeins of Paton' Shetland Chunky but I had no problems whatsoever with splitting. I was using a Boye aluminum hook if that's any use to you - I know sometimes some yarns split more when you use a certain brand/type of hook than with other hooks.
