Stockings

Hello everyone. I just joined the knitters group here and I have a question about patterns. I have been lookiing for some knitted stocking pattern for myself and for Chloe (2 1/2 years old) Does anyone know where I can find patterns like this? I have found one for myself on knittingpatterncentral but none for toddlers/children. I am willing to purchase a book or pattern too. Thanks.

I found a really cute mini stocking pattern that's worked flat and then sewn together... no double pointed needles, but I'm guessing you mean larger stockings. I just checked out a book at my local library called "Knit Christmas Stockings!", it's got 19 patterns for some really nice and colorful stockings And some mini ones I recommend that book for stockings.

Thank you for the links. What I actually meant was stockings to wear. Like socks but longer to cover the entire leg underneath a dress or skirt.

This site has a formula for knee socks. To go up to the thigh, you can add some more length with shaping, following the same idea.
