i do both.. i crocheted first.. and then learn to knit.. i find continental knitting easier for my crochet mind to translate LOL ..

i'm also a knitter. i don't know which i use, hold the yarn in my right hand, so which is it?

anyhow, i had my first knitting lesson yesterday, but for whatever reason picked it up and have been doing miles of stockinette (hmmm, did i spell that right?)

my instructor has me doing 1 knit stitch as the beginning of each purl row to keep it from curling. seem right? she said only to do this when there will be a seam, though......

 

my love will alway be crochet:hook , although i am overjoyed at knowing i can now at least do both
