Hello! Wow it was nice to find such a large group. Cold months are coming and it is time to snuggle up under a nice crochet project. I have been crocheting for as long as I can remember. My grandma taught me. I don't know how she had the patience, because my 5 year old daughter is wanting to learn, and it is very difficult not to get frustrated . I am looking forward to hearing some new ideas and meeting new friends.

I just taught myself a couple months ago so I could teach my 9yo daughter. She was a prolific chainer. I made an oreo cookie and she liked it so much, she finally paid attention long enough to learn single and double crochet stitches. She hasn't completed the oreo yet, but she at least finished a few stitches.
