"patchwork" scarf

This is a scarf that I came up with as an idea for my students in my beginning crochet class as a way to practice single and double crochet stitches.

 

I made all of my "patches" in one colour, but I think that it would be cute in multiple colours too. I also added some top stitching just for fun and to add a bit of colour.

 

I think that it would make a wonderful "stash buster" also!

 

This one is made in Classic Worsted 80/20 acrylic/wool blend.
