HH Stripes (& Stripes) Forever Scarf in Sirdar Baby Bamboo

My second project (after a simple cat bed) so it's a perfect choice for me - extremely easy but still looks effective. The colours I used in the Sirdar Snuggly Baby Bamboo were Water Baby (blue), Cream, Minky (brown) and Willow (green). Lovely soft DK weight yarn which is 80% bamboo, 20% wool.

 

 

Foundation chain of 320 rather than 300 and just 6 rows of the last colour (the green) rather than 8. I think I like the narrower scarf - it measures 7 x 215cm (or about 3 x 84"). What do you think ? Would it look better with a wider green stripe ?

Aww thanks for your kind words everyone . The colour range in this yarn is well thought out and I reckon almost any combo would look good. Lovely and soft too, just wish it came in 100g or 200g balls.

very nice! I love the pattern and I have made 3 of these but I have made mine mulitcoloured as a stash busting exercise.... I love the way the fringe is already there without having to knot it on after!
