I'm confused!! (imagine that!)

tween

Question

:blush

ok.. I'm making a baby blanket.. I'm on the finishing end.. but I am sure I am over thinking these instructions.. but regardless I can't go on, becuz in my small pea brain.. I dunno what to do.. lol

I'm decreasing.. the instructions at the end of the row says ...

chain 2 turn..

then the begining of the next row says.. skip first stitch & sc in next stitch.. so since common wisdom is to sc in the 2nd stitch becuz of the chain 2 at the end of the last row, do I work my next stitch in the 3rd stitch or the 2nd?

If its the 2nd, which is normal becuz of the chain 2 at the end, then I wouldnt be skipping any stitch, like I'm suppose to.

If its the 3rd stitch, then it lQQks all wonky, & bunchy.. ugh... see? LOL I told ya.. I'm drivin myself looney!! :think

I think it should just be in the 2nd stitch. When you decrease I don't think you normally just skip stitches you would do a decrease (single crochet 2 together). So maybe you'll decrease later in the row?
