Comfort Ghan Update

All 24 squares of the comfort afghan for Christie (Jordans mom) are joined and the afghan is bordered. I am going to go ahead and add one more round of the medium purple to the afghan and then this one will be finished. I layed it over my bed to have a good look at it to see if it needed another round of purple border and took pics to post the update here.

 

 

 

 

Here's the closeup of the border before I add one last round.

 

 

This afghan is huge (I have a california king bed) but it's definately the perfect afghan to comfort someone.

UPDATE -

 

The afghan and lapghan, along with the slippers, have been mailed to Rebecca. I purchased insurance as well as delivery confirmation on the box. Total shipping cost by priority mail was $13.70, any help to defer that cost is greatly appreciated Thanks all! Rebecca, you'll have to let as all know the minute it arrives!!

AAARRRGGG I feel like crying!! I checked the delivery confirmation number yesterday and again just now on the comfort ghans box and it says there's no record of the number! I mailed it out last Thursday by Priority so there HAS to be some record after 5 days, wouldnt you think?! It was only going to Texas (from CA)! Im going to raise some red flags on the base post office if this box gets lost also! 2 boxes, in a row, within a month from eachother, both with insurance, getting lost. When I print out labels from paypal, they arrive to the recipient just fine - I even mailed out Tiff's by giving it to the post office at the same time I mailed the comfort ghan box but I had printed her label. Im getting so upset. I will check again tomorrow - will probably stop in on the post office and ask what's up to which they will probably tell me I have to wait 30 days just like they did with the first box
