Huggable Hedgehogs

Here is a gaggle of huggable hedgehogs in all stages of development.

 

 

 

Starting from the left: A completed hog with needlefelted eyes, a partialy stuffed hog with plastic animal eyes, a felted, but not stuffed hog, and knitted, but not felted hog.

 

Here is a close up of the first completed hog.

 

 

These come out sooo cute. I can knit one in about 2 evenings in front of the TV, or about 5 hours or so. The pattern is from Fiber Trends calle huggable hedgehogs. I got my pattern at my LYS. I have yet to knit one in "normal" hedgehog colors. The bright colors are so much more fun. I have been buying my fun fur at the Dollar Tree stores....much, much cheaper!

Ah! I have one - Didn't make animals yet. A great small project for a starter project.
