Sedge Stitch

Hello All,

 

I just saw a blanket made with something called a sedge stitch. What is it and how do you do it?? It looked really nice, done by the Crochet Dude I think it was....anyone?

sc, dc, and dc in the same stitch as the dc you just did. Skip 2 stitches repeat. Picot edge.

Here's a link to a washcloth done with the sedge stitch - I use this pattern a lot to make face cloths with Cotton Tots or Bernat's Organic Cotton as gifts.
