Hello everyone! I've been away from here for quite a long time due to PC problems (my dog took a wee on my laptop....and I had to get a new one!). I wish I was back under different circumstances, but I was just dx'd with Mono (eppstein barr) a few days ago and am sick in bed for the next several weeks, doctors orders.

 

I can't believe I caught mono at the age of 33! It's normally something teens get. LOL.

 

Anyway, I think while I'm laid up, I'd like to make this bag. I've certainly got time to think of the colors and ideas for lining. I've got a ton of RH variegrated in Watercolors. Maybe I'll use that and a deep purple for the edging; and I'd like to install a zipper instead of a button, which means I"ll have to practice up on my sewing skills! LOL.

 

Glad to be a part of the CAL---as soon as I have something tangible, I'll post a pic!
