HI!

This was my first project that I got from Lion's Brand's Website. http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/cwetq-hatScarf.html

I loved the stripes and decided to make one with "fisherman" (quick and thick from lion's brand) and "midnight blue" (quick and thick chenille from lion's brand) yarn with a P-hook. Dad was so impressed by it that I gave it to him after he tried it on half a dozen times during dinner. So of course, Mother had to have one too. For her I used (quick and thick) "fisherman" and "pumpkin" with an N-sized hook. (The color reminds me of a orange-sicle)The p-hook ended looking really chunky but felt softer. Mother was adamant on a less chunky look. And finally I made one for myself with "fisherman" and "grass." Each scarf took a little bit over 1 Skein depending on how long you wanted to make it.

Did I mention each scarf is 5 feet long, not including fringe.

Do anyone have any suggestions or project ideas on how to use up Quick and Thick yarn?

Have a great one all.:hug

Pam.
