hello from Wichita Falls, i started by my grandmother teaching me. You might go to you LYS or maybe craftstore Michaels, or Hobby Lobby and ask if there is someone they know that might be giving lessons or willing to help. If that doesnt work start chaining until you can get the feel for the hook and your tension right. the sites mention in the postings in this thread are just great..
