I'm enjoying it, Rebecca, and hoping like crazy that she will like it. Besides, if it weren't for you, well.. you can complete the rest. Thank YOU!

You all are doing such a wonderful thing and job. Does the little girl need anything else? I would like to help out but I'm not real creative, so if you tell me I would be glad to do something. Is she doing better? If she has everthing she needs, I'll help another time.

Joy, chelle is making a pillow of of homespun (if i remember right)-so soft and snuggly, and julie made that beautiful blanket. the only thing i have done so far is make a beanie-skull cap style hat out of lilac fun fur. = i need to find a way to post a picture of that. anyway, there are several other little caps i found on Bev's Cottage site. i'll have to search for the link if you need it. but it's up to you. if you feel led, feel free to do whatever you think.:grouphug

Hi,

Well I have thought about it all afternoon, and decided that I would make a stuffed animal. Either a clown that is about 2 feet tall or a stuffed bear. Which do u think?

I need to lay it out on the in the morning to make sure of the size, but I may be done with it but for the edging and tassels. If not, only another seven rows to complete the repetitions and it will be done in time to mail on Monday too! You're going to have all kinds of things in the mail!

I'm sorry you missed the breakfast, I know you were looking forward to it. Maybe there will be another time soon that you get to meet her and the family.

Rebecca, can you send me an email with your address? You may have, but I'm not finding it now. Which is typical of me, trust me.

I started on Ester Bear tonight. I'm going to try real hard to finish her in a few days. Will see what plans hubby has for me tomorrow:frog I had to help spray for weeds on our pasture today. I'm sorry you didn't get to breakfast. Maybe sometime soon! Did you give an address? I missed it if you did. My email is crochet4fun@yahoo.com if you want to send it there.

I finished the afghan, I hope she will like it. I'm torn between adding fringe/tassels to it, what does anybody think? I'm worried it may be too fussy for a hospital stay with the fringe, but then I think an 8 year old girl might be thrilled to have it. What do you all think?

I'll do it then, big gigantic tassels in the corners. I think her 8 year old heart would love them, and that's the whole point. Thanks Chelle and Holly, I would not have thought of just putting them in the corners. Great idea!!

I'm pleased you like the afghan, too! Thanks!!

You did such a wonderful job on the afghan. It is absolutely beautiful! Ester bear is coming along and I will try to post a picture. I've never done that before. I'll have to get my daughter involved probably.
