H it is....
I would choose D for yarn or 7 for thread
Before I read any further... F hook!
I love my G hook
I use my H the most.
My choice - G
Ok, am I seriousley the only person who thought the answer should have been "big enough to sit on" or "large enough to sleep on"...
all these pages I kept on thinking....hook furniture!
Geez, I need to get a life!
Mine would be a J hook. It's my favorite.
F - or a 4mm for us Aussies!
So Jimbo did we answer your question the way you thought???
I had to think really long on this one...it depends on what I'm doing (afghan, hat, bag, etc.) or the weight of yarn (worsted, baby, chunky, etc.) or ...
So I changed my thinking - what hook do I use when I just want to TRY something?
I chose my Susan Bates H hook.
but jimbo if the island were made of yarn wouldnt you in the end crochet yourself in the water?
I like a J!
Just one size...but I love them all.
Okay, it would have to be an "H". I can use it for afghans or for clothes or for a craft item. It's universal.
But I have to say that a "I" would be my second wish.
Of course, I would need scissors too.
Yup. I was going by the number of requests i've had for hooks of a particular size.
H seems to have it hands down.
Oh and Beth.. you asked if you'd eventually sink from using up all the yarn. Good observation. But you might be able to float away on a pile of afgans.
H for me and if that were not available an F
"Just because my lips aren't moving doesn't mean I'm not counting shh!"
