I had to think really long on this one...it depends on what I'm doing (afghan, hat, bag, etc.) or the weight of yarn (worsted, baby, chunky, etc.) or ...

 

So I changed my thinking - what hook do I use when I just want to TRY something?

Yup. I was going by the number of requests i've had for hooks of a particular size.

H seems to have it hands down.

 

 

Oh and Beth.. you asked if you'd eventually sink from using up all the yarn. Good observation. But you might be able to float away on a pile of afgans.
