Weebles Wobble but they don’t fall down

Tampa Doll

Recommended Posts

Well, the real ones anyway. It has been to hot to work with yarn down here lately, and after all we do have a Holiday in July. I decided to play with some yarn patterns with thread. Some one a while ago asked about this pattern, if they are toys or decorations. The original is done in yarn and they are 8 inches high, mine are 4 inches high.

Here is the original pattern it is on page 2 and near the bottom.

I used size 10 thread and size 7 hook. Put them in the back room for the DH to take a picture and he thought they were all for him. Only 3 are.

Before you know it, Christmas will be here.

Those are too cute. I like them better in thread, I think!

I wonder if you could really make them not fall down by adding pebbles, a few pennies or something before stuffing them. Something for bigger kids to play with.

Those are the cutest lil' snow critters I ever did see!!!!

I just love those - 'specially the angel as my tree decorations are made up of ALL angels!

I made those little guys for a Christmas in July swap and just mailed them!

Your hair on your angel turned out a lot better than mine did though!

I made mine in thread, too, makes them so cute! Great job on these!
