80's Legwarmers

This is a pair of legwarmers I made for a coworkers daughter who is in Arts In for 4H. They are doing and 80's flashback theme. I used RH Limeade, Grenadine, Tangerine, and Turquoise. The groups shirts are Lime or Hot Pink so the colors worked out great.

Has got me to thinking, at work we have a couple of chair bound ladies who sit in tub chairs all day with a blanket over them, I have made them a beanie each the last two nights (added a flower for style LOL) and something like this would be ideal for them to slip on the legs for extra warmth.

Want a real flashback!? I was watching So You Think You Can Dance and during one of the practice/rehearsal sessions one of the girls was wearing a slight healed shoe with leg warmers, short shorts, and a belly shirt!!!! I swear she came right out of the 80's!!! Sad thing, I thought it actually looked pretty good together!
