Curling Ribbon Hat

Recommended Posts

I've been telling myself I need to post this for months LOL. You can sell stuff made from this pattern, but I would appreciate it if you tell me where you're selling.

Depending on the color of ribbon, you can sometimes get a raffia-like effect.

Materials:

Curling Ribbon (one spool makes at least 2 hats)

Stitch Marker (I used a paper clip)

Size P Hook

Chain 4, 7 dc in 4th ch from hook (the other 3 chs count as 1 dc). MARK beg of each rnd.

Rnd 1. 2 dc in each dc around. DO NOT join.

Rnd 2. Work *2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc* around.

Rnd 3. Work *2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in next 2 dc* around.

Rnd 4. Work *2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in next 3 dc* around.

Rnds 5-9. 1 dc in each dc around. FO

This is the first pattern I ever wrote, and I'm thinking of re-doing it. I think joining the rounds might work better.
