'Scratchy' yarn

I got some scratchy yarn and I don't know what to make with it ... I've made a scarf, but I realize that it's not very comfortable wearing...

Does anybody have any suggestions as in what to use it for

 

I really like it, and don't want it to go to waste... :grump

It is 85% Wool, 8% Cotton, 7% Nylon...

can you make a purse and felt it? or is it washable wool? just a idea:shrug good luck, vicki

it wont felt cause its blended.. but what you could try is washing it in a pantyhose leg with soem fabric softner.. and see if that softens it up a bit
