That is beautiful! Great job! Is each square one piece or do you have to sew parts together?

Oh my goodness, how cute that is!!!! Like the Native American girl afghan that was posted a couple of weeks ago, is that also a rework of the Sunbonnet Sue pattern or is it a pattern unto itself? My husband is like your daughter, he loves Oriental things. He would love this!

If it looks better in person it must be jaw-dropping.

I would love to make something like this (or receive).

Where did you get the pattern, or did you create?

:mdust WOW! :mdust

It is very beautiful. I do not envy you the weaving of ends though!!:hook

Like the Native American afghan I made this is based on the Sunbonnet Sue pattern from AA.

The square is pretty much one piece except for the long sleeve part, the obi sash and of course the hair flowers and butterflies in the corners.

I work the ends in as I go along as I HATE going back to do that.

For the men you could tweak the Overall Sam pattern and make them in Karate suits w/black belts or whatever color you like. I think that would make a pretty cute afghan for a man or a boy.

Thank you for all the nice comments, I know I love looking at the things you all have made and get a lot of inspiration from all of you.
