vintage scrap scarf

my friend dorice gave me a big bag of yarn that belonged to her mother-in-law. her mother-in-law bought the yarn in the 70's and 80's. it's all acrylic. i decided to piece together some funky colors. i used an open stitch (it's my fave for scarves) and a size J hook. the length - i loop the scarf around my neck once and the ends hang past my waist.
