i made this scarf for my brother james. i used caron simply soft (chunky?). it crocheted up quite quickly. the stitch is just alternates of single crochet and chain. i can't remember what size hook i used - maybe an L. also it's quite long - looped once around the neck the ends reach below the waist.

he likes it. i made it specifically in his work colors so while he's cutting/styling hair he can wear a scarf.
