1. has anyone used this and how does it work up? 2. what prices have you seen it at and where?

I'm wanting 4 balls of this in the Princess colorway and with shipping it would be nearly 18.00 at herrschners. I think it can be found cheaper. I don't mind buying it online or buying it from another person but haven't been able to find it very much around here.

Thanks for the help!! :hook

I just picked some up at my local AC Moore in a couple of colors, intending to use it for headbands and the like. It works up pretty well and it's relatively soft. I like it a lot (and I'm a bit of a yarn snob often times).

I think I paid something like $3.00/ball, but I can't find my receipt, so I can't say for sure.

knitting-warehouse has it for $2.02/ball, but I've never ordered from them.

Good luck! I like the Princess colorway!

[btw: I can check the price again and let you know. I know my AC Moore has that colorway, and it's no problem to pick up some skeins for you!]

I like it, too. It moves nicely on the hook and you can see the stitches well. The finished pieces don't come out stiff. I think I paid about $4.00 for it at AC Moore, but I'm not sure 'cuz I bought it awhile ago and don't have the receipt anymore.

Thanks! I'm gonna make this from it! I've been wanting to make it for months but haven't been able to cough up the money for the yarn I really wanted. So until I can I'm gonna do a practice run with the TLC. Hopefully soon, it's really calling my name. :knit

Thanks all, I think I will go with Knitting Warehouse as they seem to have the best price and a good deal on the shipping. Now I just have to wait a week or two till I get money from my garage sale to order it!!:hook

I missed this thread earlier! :) I've used TLC Cotton Plus and bought it from Knitting Warehouse. I love this yarn! :c9 I've made a few of Chelle's lacy ponchos with it and I just made a purse.

I've been making headbands and smaller items with it, but I'm thinking now that I might want to try a tank-top with it... seems like it would work well for that, it's so soft and lightweight (okay, maybe I just work with wool more than anything else). :)

Has anyone used it for clothing items next to the skin?
