Rummage sale purse handles

I went to a church rummage sale this morning and bought a little purse just for the handles on it. I'm going to start collecting handles for the purses I make. They look to be polished bamboo shaped like a C with medal rings on each end. Does any pattern spring to anyones mind that these would work good on?

I can't remember where I saw this, but I know Skamama created this pattern. It's a cute purse where the front of it looks like a blooming rose. Maybe CrochetMe Mag? It's REALLY beautiful.
