Michele - no prob! I'll set up the account tomorrow.

Hamlette - OMG! :wow That is a LOT of thread! :) I don't think you'll lack for thread for a while! I hope it's all different colors? :?

Lydarose2 - Absolutely! I'll set your account up tomorrow too. Oh, and you are brave! That bookmark looks very intricate. Very lovely though.

Thanks for the button Mommiechickie! I'll add it to the blog tomorrow.

Off to work on my doilie for 10 min before hitting the sack. :yawn

Hi Ladies -

I'm sorry, I'm not going to be able to make any gallery accounts today. I worked late, I'm slightly sick, and I'm really upset at my brother right now - long story. So, I promise I'm not ignoring you, I'm just going to go take some Nyquil and go to bed.

Michele: your son and dl are gonna treasure the table cloth you make for them forever! That is an awesome present. Can't wait to see your Cala Lily doily! one of my all time favorite flowers!:spina

I have 9 rounds left on my doily. Not gonna set a date for finishing it though. I already have several other patterns bookmarked for this CAL....I'm loving it!:)h

Oh, and Hamlett, glad you got a handful of colors in that thread. You are gonna be busy:knit

Anna, I hope you're feeling better! :hug

I've been having some technical difficulties with the Celtic bookmark, but I think I've got it under control now. I've been alternating between working on it and weaving in 200+ ends on a throw rug (I always end up leaving that til the end even though I know it would be easier to do it as I go along...)

lydarose2 - thanks! I am. And good luck on the bookmark!

MsKennedy - your pineapple doilie is very beautiful!

I've caught up on making the new gallery users and sent them out a little while ago. I even managed to finish round 3 and start round 4 on my doilie this evening!

How is everybody else's projects coming along?

I would have to say that so far my first experience with thread is going well. I had some problems with my project being kind of lopsided. Well I fixed that. It is amazing what can happen when a ch5 is missed! LOL! It is now starting to look more like the photo on the pattern page. I have not worked on it the last couple of days but with this nice long weekend I am hoping that I can finish it. I do have a question though. Are all thread projects supposed to be pinned and blocked when finished? Thanks.

Boy, I need to fix that page! The background doesn't show up and that just irritates me to no end. :ohdear:)) Both of those come from the 3 Dozen & One Bookmarks book by Annie's Attic. The book is still one of the few crochet books left at Walmart the last time I checked so it's pretty easy to find.

i'm still managing at least one row a night at work, but seeing as how my project is HUGE i've gotten about an eighth of it done LOL I'm hoping robert has to work this comming wednesday (my day off) so I can work on it here at home AND take a photo of the progress. For those who have seen the link, i'm almost to the top of the bottom "fancy stitches" with like 3 rows of that left to do (yeah i know, i'm not making much sense....i've only been awake about 30 minutes though) :camera to come soon!!

MsKennedy -

I love your doily! It's so beautiful!!! I'm not very good at pineapples... Whenever I try, it gets lopsided for some reason. :thinking2

Julie -

I can't wait to see your doily! :))

here is the beginning of my project, I have 2 more colors(I think) of squares. I'm attempting a poncho, but instead of just joing the squares I would like to attach them using a more open decorative stitch. I will probably just choose one from my crochet bible, but any suggestions?

I'm always hot and am looking for something I can wear with something layered underneath, but not pass out from heat exhaustion!:o

Thanks!:w-flake

Lanette - Great job on the squares. I love the colors you chose. Sorry I cannot help with the decorative stitch. I have not attached anything (that could be seen) before.
