"One-skein" bobble purse

I'm catching up on unfinished projects after a hectic 9 months.

I finished this particular project ages ago, but only got round to putting in a zip last night. It was the first time I've tried putting a zip into anything (being a sewophobe, I just kept putting it off) and nobody told me I was supposed to fit the zip before stitching up the sides of the bag! So the effect is somewhat rustic, but I'm rather fond of it.

It's the Bobble Purse from from Leigh Radford's book "One Skein", but as I was using Artyarns Supermerino, which comes in 50g skeins, I actually used more than one (don't tell!!). It's a lovely yarn. Here's a close-up of the bobble pattern, which was easy and fun to do.

That's cute! Love the colors, too. The zipper looks pretty good, too. Next time you put one in, you'll know what to do :D First attempt is always a learning experience, no?
