Middle TN Fiber Festival

There don't seem to be a lot of fiber festivals in my area (East TN) and I came across a link for one this weekend in Dixson, TN (near Nashville). Namely, the Middle Tennessee Sheep, Wool, and Fiber Festival.

Has anyone been to this festival? Any input would be helpful.

 

I'll go either way, because I want to support this type of event, but I'd like to go with realistic expectations.

oh dang I wish I would have seen this sooner. It would have been fun to go for the day. I live an hourish from there.

What is a fiber festival? I've never heard of one.

Sorry you missed the Fiber Festival last year. We are having it again on May 23 and 24, 2008, in Dickson, TN. We are having classes on spinning, weaving, yarn dyeing and hope to have lots more. There will be yarn vendors, wool, spinning supplies etc. I hope to have some crochet workshops, if I can get it set up. I spin and crochet but don't knit.
