my latest round ripple

This afghan is headed out to a young man from my husband's church who has just gone on his mission. My stepdaughter asked him what his three favorite colors were, and he said "blue, orange, and .... purple!" So this is how it turned out, and we think Alex will be very happy with his "hug" from our family:

 

 

The purple is actually a deep plum shade, which doesn't show up at its best here. It is 62" from point to point, and they're all Caron one-pounder yarns. It washed up so nice and soft!
