These are a bulky glove that comes high on the fingers. They are meant to look kind of circus-y, if you know what I mean. The main character in the ballet Petrouchka was a clown, you see (there's no clown smilies LOL). You can fudge the numbers if you want to make it smaller.

Approx 1 oz Red Heart Super Saver Bright Yellow (or other complimentary solid)-color B

With A, ch 28.

Rnd 1: ch 1, sc around, join.

Rounds 2-4: rep rnd 1. FO

Rnd 5: attach B in join, sc around, join.

Rnd 6: ch 4, *tr in next 3 sts, 5 tr tog in next st* around, join. FO

Rnd 7: attach A in join, ch 1, sc around, join.

Rnd 8: ch 1, sc in first st, sc 8, sk 6 sts, sc around, join in first sc.

Rnd 9: ch 1, sc around, 8 sc over chains.

Rnds 10-13: ch 1, sc around, join.

Rnd 14: ch 1, *sc in next 4 sts, dec over next 2 sts* around, join.

Rnd 15: ch 1, *sc in next 3 sts, dec over next 2 sts* around, join.

Rnd 16-17: rep rnd 10. FO

Rnd 18: attach B in join, ch 3, 2 dc in same st, 3 dc in ea st around, join. FO

I've changed my mind. I'm going to do El Amor Brujo next. I tried Appalachian Spring, but I'm trying to incorporate Granny Squares, and it isn't working.
