Hi, my name is Andi and I live in a suburb of Chicago. I have six grandkids that I like to crochet for. Christmas 2005 I made each of them a different afghan in their favorite colors. I think I started in January. I recently made (again in favorite colors) covers for their water bottles and pop cans when they come to my house. Right now I'm doing a monkey for my grandson who's b-day is 5/2.

 

I really like to do character crochet. It's fun to see the joy on a child's face then they see them.

 

I wanted to join because there are times I'm stumped and I figure what better place to ask questions and/or get suggestions.
