I was searching through the Coats & Clark website today and found some information about a new program coming on PBS. It is called "Knit & Crochet Today" and is being hosted by Kassie DePaiva who plays Blair on One Life to Live.

If you sign up for their newsletter, it will keep you informed on when the show will begin. You can contact your PBS station (they give the lists of PBS stations in your area) to ask them to add the show to their line-up.

When you sign up for the newsletter, they also provide you with a free pattern for a beautiful "Beaded Lacy Purse".

I e-mailed one of my PBS stations, but they don't have plans on airing it anytime soon. Maybe I'll try the other one.

"Knit & Crochet Today"

Shouldn't they call it Crochet & Knit Today :D (we all know the crochet should be first!!)

Thank you for telling us about this - according to her web site - the show doesn't start until September.

I remember reading an article in Crochet Today about the charity hats that Kassie DePaiva crochets. I know she plays on OLTL now but she will always be Chelsea from Guiding Light to me :)

Here is more info about the show

I emailed my local PBS station weeks ago and so I have not heard from them. I hope we get the show. I love crochet and I took my first knitting class today and I learned to cast on and the garter stitch. I should have brought 2 sets of needles so I could practice cast on. I am learning to knit a scarf and I hope I get this so by this fall I can move to socks!
