Need yarn advice

I want to make an asymmetrical poncho for fall. Already making a poncho with wool, so what kind of yarn would you suggest for this poncho? Doesn't need to be SUPER warm. Acrylic, mohair, boucle? Thanks! <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rowofhearts.gif" />

... and I suggest pink yarn. Besides being my favorite color, it's in now. I bought some Lion Brand Imagine (it's a mohair like yarn) and am making a shawl out of it... whenever I can get my butt in gear

I just bought this gorgeous pink sweater cardigan from Old Navy yesterday. I love the look of pink with brown.

Me too!! Whenever I get these pink items made (shawl and poncho) I'm going to match them with my brown slacks. In fact, the nice weather shirts I have for them are pink too... And so are the rest of my clothes...
