Simple Crocheted Daisy Bookmark

 

*This pattern has not been tested, so if you find any problems, let me know. Pics are clickable*

 

Materials:

Small amount worsted weight yarn, or any yarn you like

Size I hook, or any hook you like

Scissors

Tapestry needle

 

Instructions:

 

1.)Chain 4, slip stitch to make a ring.

2.)Chain 6, sc into ring

3.)Repeat this step 4 more times

4.)Slip stitch into first chain of first petal to join

5.)Chain 35, Fasten off.

 

Weave in the ends.

Thought I'd have a go at this pattern and here is what I made, used a size 3.5mm hook. The pink is dk baby yarn and the white is 4ply yarn.

Not sure if thats how they are supposed to be, but they are pretty anyway.

 

Noticed that you didn't add a row to join the petals so here is how I did it.

 

sl st into 1st ch of 1st petal to join

ch 35

weave in ends

Isn't it amazing what people can come up with when their kid hands them some yarn and a hook and tells them to make something!?!:dreaming My mind is brilliant!
